Vivian has done a LOT of stuff over the past ten years of her career and it's sort of impossible to track everything. If you think that I missed something or made a mistake, please tell me in BBS.

Vivian is currently actively recording music albums, modeling, making commercials, hosting TV shows, and acting movies.

Vivian started writing her own lyrics for her last two albums, Happy Past Days and False Angel.  Now she is famous for her lyrics contribution to other popular Asian artists such as Jay Zhou, Vanness Wu, and Gigi Leung.

Timeline of Vivian's Career

1991 At age 15, Vivian won 1st place at "Talent Pretty Girl" contest. Joined Shou Nu Dui (Girl Group) and released album Wo De Xin Yao Chu Lu Xing (My Heart Wants to Go Travel).

Recorded commercial for Da Yu papaya milk in Taiwan.

1992 Shou Nu Dui released second album Pian Ai Ni De Xin (Especially Love Your Heart).

Vivian had small parts in four Taiwanese soap operas (from 1992 - 1994).

1994 Shou Nu Dui broke up. Vivian went solo.

Recorded commercial for Wai Wong instant noodles in Taiwan.

Acted in three Taiwanese movies Angel Heart, Shoulin Popey, Hunting List.

Released first photobook, Angel Heart.

1995 Went to Japan and released first Japanese single Myth of Lips.

Acted in Fuji TV soap opera Miss Diamond in Japan.

Acted in two Taiwanese movies Devil Angel, New Messy Temple II.

1996 Recorded commercials for Sampo fax machine and Pon Pon shower gel in Taiwan.

Recorded commercials for Ace Cook instant noodles in Japan.

Acted in Fuji TV soap opera 23 Port District Girl.

Acted in two Taiwanese movie Dragon from Shaolin, Adventurous Treasure Island.

Acted in Japanese movie Shoot, My Darlin'.

Released two more Japanese singles, Accomplice and Once Again Be My Valentine. Also released compilation album Xiang. (You can hear this album in my Download page!)

Released solo album Tensi Bishojo (Angel Beautiful Girl) in Korea. (You can hear this album in my Download Page!)

Released second photobook, Venus.

1997 Joined popular Japanese TV show Urinari. Became member of the group Black Biscuits.

Black Biscuits released single Stamina.

Recorded Meiji ice cream commercial in Japan.

Acted in Fuji TV movie One and A Half Single Bed.

Acted in three HK movies L-O-V-E...Love, We're No Bad Guys, Chivalrous Legend.

1998 Black Biscuits released two singles, Timing and Relax.

Black Biscuits became wildly popular and performed at 1998 NHK Red White Challenge. Vivian was the fourth Chinese individual to perform in the Red White Challenge in Japanese TV history.

Re-released her first Japanese album "Xiang: New Edition," with two extra songs.

Released solo album Da Ma Fan (Big Trouble) in Taiwan.

Recorded commerical for Fujitzu air conditioner in Taiwan.

Spokesperson for Aviva computer class, Padi diving class, Match sports drink, DDI palm pilot, Toyota Ipsum sports utility vehicle, My Tear eye drops, and Pizza-la pizza in Japan.

Acted in HK movie Your Place Or Mine.

Guest and host of many popular Japanese TV shows.

1999 Black Biscuits released fourth single, Bye Bye, and a compilation album Life.

Released solo album Bu Bai De Lian Ren (Undefeatable Lover).

Recorded Near Water fruit flavored drink and Laurier feminine napkins commercials in Taiwan.

Spokesperson for Tokyo road safety, Tokyo worker compensation insurance, Daikin air conditioner, Proqualite hair products in Japan.

Acted in Taiwanese movie A Tale of Rascal.

Guest and host of many popular Japanese TV shows.

2000 Spokesperson for Near Water, Laurier, and Panasonic batteries in Taiwan.

Released two albums in Taiwan, Happy Past Days and Jai Ban De Tian Xi (False Angel).

2001 Acted in HK movie Accidental Spy with Jackie Chan.

Formed rock band "The d. e. p." and released two albums in Japan.

Spokesperson for Near Water, Japanese green tea, Laurier, Pon Pon shower gel in Taiwan.

Spokesperson for Meko water in Hong Kong.

Spokesperson for Vitalon green tea in Taiwan.

Wrote first book, "Earth Onigiri."

Acted in Japanese drama series Honke no Yome, which was also broadcasted in Taiwan.

Released Honke no Yome soundtrack single, Marry Me.

Contributed lyrics to songs on Taiwanese singer Jay Zhou's first two albums (winner of Golden Song Awards 2002).

Wrote second book, "Privacy."

2002 Wrote third book, "Wo Ai Taiwan."

Co-hosted Japanese late night talk show Chanoma Girls with Yuka.
