Cute woman Vivian Hsu, in order to realize her "all women should have the cuteness ingredient" theory, believes that you must be cute from childhood to old age.  But her cuteness does not come easy, neither is it naive, it is even a little sexy. As fellow women, why don't we all learn from her cuteness theory?

Vivian Hsu is highly popular in both Taiwan and Japan. She always relates an image of both cuteness and sexiness.

About "cuteness," Vivian Hsu treats it as something very important for women and maintains it with much hard work.

She believes that no matter what age you are, women should be cute from childhood to old age, so that even when you're old you are a cute grandma. For her, cuteness is a type of energy, so that she has the strength to tackle many things and the courage to face her life. Apparently, cuteness has become something Vivian relies on for her energy and spirit.

Let's all examine cute woman Vivian Hsu and how she maintains her cuteness to wow everyone in Taiwan and Japan.

CUTENESS FACTOR #1: MAINTAIN YOUR FIGURE

To maintain her good figure Vivian tried many diets, including fasting, the apple diet, drink only honey water for 3 days, etc., but she found that while she lost weight quickly with these diets, once she got off the diet the weight came back. Vivian also loves Japanese BBQ. When she was in Japan, she loved to go with the filming crew for Japanese BBQ after work, late at night. This would take place 2-3 times per week, at the end she not only had problems with her figure, got a round tummy, she even got indigestion.

In order to return to her original figure, Vivian not only stopped her habit to eat BBQ at night, she also realized that the only trick to losing weight is eat less and move more.

Daily exercise became her homework every day. Because she worked all the time and could not go to the gym every day, she ran instead. Running 30 minutes every day not only gave her a good figure, but also a better complexion.

In order to get abdominal muscles like Brittney Spears, Vivian did sit ups religiously, but because she doesn't like to repeat the same exercise all the time, she recommends dancing as the best exercise to lose weight.

Vivian believes that eating is the source of her life force and that she should enjoy life to the fullest, so she gave up losing weight through dieting. She even eats sweets and gourmet food if she wants, but does so with technique.

First she slows down her eating speed. She eats large, nutritious breakfasts, eats mostly vegetables and fish, as little meat as possible, eat a lot of cucumbers, drinks a lot of mineral water and banana juice. She eats small dinners and stops eating after 8 PM at night.

If she binges once in a while, she will immediately go to the gym and exercise off the extra calories.

CUTENESS FACTOR #2: HAVE GREAT SKIN ALL THE TIME

Don't think that Vivian's beautiful light skin come from complicated skincare every day, she is someone who takes care of herself the simplest, laziest way possible.

She believes that too much skincare products only clog up your pores and add to the burden of your skin cells. So normally she only slaps on toner after washing her face, then put a bit of lotion on the dry areas.

In addition, she uses a mask twice a week to thoroughly cleanse and moisturize. Also once a week she makes a home-made mask of egg + flour + milk. This is how her skin remains rosy and creamy.

Other than daily skincare, Vivian thinks that drinking a lot of water helps metabolism. Eat lots of fruit, avoid fried foods, are all ways to maintain your skin. When she gets pimples, Vivian creates her amazing "Zit Off Drink." She puts some green beans into a mug, add boiling water, cover the mug overnight, then drink the water the next day on an empty stomach. Do this a few days and your skin will go back to before, not a pimple in sight!

CUTENESS FACTOR #3: STAY BEAUTIFUL AT ALL AGES

If cuteness is something Vivian must adhere to throughout her life, of course she has some secret tricks to let herself stay youthful and pretty forever.

She believes that it's very important to always put a smile on your face and maintain a happy mood. Girls just have to lift up the corners of their mouths and they will look cute immediately.

In addition, you should change your hairstyle or image at different stages in your life. Vivian said that girls change in their facial features and body shape as they get older, so if you change your look or lose a little weight, it will be a great way to discover a brand new self.

In all the techniques of keeping beautiful, there is another trick from Vivian's mom and that is getting enough sleep and water. Even though that sounds easy and widely known, it's not easy at all to do in the long run.

Also, she advises that girls should not ever drink ice-cold water. The best choice is warm water. Ice-cold water is very bad for the skin and the body, even when Vivian dines out, she asks the restaurants for warm water.

Vivian is busy with her career and her schedule is always full, so adjusting her mood and getting rid of stress become the most important components of her plan in staying beautiful. One technique is that before she goes to sleep every night or before she takes a bath, Vivian lights up aromatic candles or oils, so that she can relax completely and get rid of any tired feeling.

Note by the Webmistress: The green beans Vivian talked about are the small green beans you buy in Asian markets (usually dried and in a bag).  They are usually used to make sweets, especially sweet soup.  They are NOT the bigger green beans you get in American grocery markets, canned or otherwise.  In any case, I'm definitely going to try that trick the next time I get a pimple ^___^
